TOURNAMENT
POLICY:
1.
All teams must submit a USSSA Tournament Roster upon entering a sanctioned
tournament.
2.
All Masters teams that have players on their rosters who played during
the current season on Major, class ‘AA’, class ‘A’, or class
‘B’ teams shall be required to compete in the Masters Major Division.
QUALIFYING FOR STATE & WORLD TOURNAMENTS:
1.
Berths are awarded through USSSA leagues, tournaments and participation
points.
2.
State berths won are seeded into the State Tournament.
3.
Teams that have been awarded a berth to the World tournaments are required
to participate in the State Championships.
Official USSSA Slow Pitch Rule Book and National
By-Laws changes: Add Rule 16, Section 14: All participants in a Master’s
World Tournament must have a photo ID, with proof of age, and check in prior
to participating. Add Rule 16, Section 15: A men’s 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 and
over team may only have players on its roster that live in the state that the
team is registered in or any bordering state. Any exception to this rule must
be approved by the State Director, Division Vice President and National Director.
